Authorities failed to catch a murder suspect despite launching a pursuit in the Lake Balboa area, the Los Angeles Police Department said Friday.
The LAPD said officers began chasing the man in the area of Sepulveda and Victory boulevards. However, the suspect, who was riding a motorcycle, took off and hid into the wash.
Police set up a perimeter to search for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
It was not immediately clear who the man was or what circumstances led to the alleged murder.
