FM 149 was shut down in both directions after a major crash in Montgomery County, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
MCSO said units were arriving at FM 149 near Magnolia Hills, where multiple sheriff’s office, fire and EMS crews were working. The agency urged drivers to avoid the area and find another route.
Preliminary information provided to KPRC 2 indicates four vehicles were involved and at least two people were critically injured. One patient reportedly had CPR in progress.
A Montgomery County emergency alert reported the crash closure near Karen Switch Road and said MCSO was treating the incident as a delayed fatal accident.
